FROG Week Production Underway
FROG is an acronym that stands for Freshman Recruit Orientation Group. It's really the challenge of a lifetime for many new cadets at North Georgia College and State University. This year's class is being featured in a reality TV style video to assist the Cadet Recruitment department at North Georgia in helping prospects better understand and prepare for this rigorous week of assimilation into the Corp of Cadets. Video Craft followed two FROG’s through this orientation process as they interacted with fellow freshman cadets and the cadre who were charged with the responsibility to break, mold and encourage new cadets to meet the challenges of being a successful student cadet over the next four years. The schedule was quite demanding as cameramen hustled alongside FROG’s as they attempted to meet physically demanding exercises. Footage was acquired on the assault course at Pine Valley, on the rock face at Camp Merrill where FROG’s learned to repel and up and down the drill field on campus. The week culminated with the ”Leadership Run” which took these new recruits to the top of Crown Mountain and back down where family and friends cheered them on. A graduation ceremony put an official stamp of acceptance on their week as they enter into their new Corp of Cadets family.
"The cadre leadership was great to work with although they did nickname one of our featured FROG’s “Hollywood”. Everyone got pretty used to the cameras being around by the end of the first day so I think we captured a very realistic insight into this initiation process”, says Producer, Scott Gray.
Post-production for the project is underway with a rollout
date sometime in early October 2009. |
Our post-production staff has just completed final editing for a TV campaign. These 30-second spots will feature
high performance tire products.
Showcasing the tires was a beautiful Audi S4 along with a beautiful girl
who is heading out for a night on the town.
