In Production For The Randy Smith Memorial Golf Classic

Each year Video Craft produces an entertainment video for the banquet following the Randy Smith Memorial Golf Classic. Tournament founder and organizer, Rich Johnson, has been entertaining his audiences with lighthearted movie vignettes to bring a touch of laughter to a very sobering topic. You see, for the past 12 years the RSMGC has been providing emotional and financial support to victims of tragedies who work within the family of trade show industry professionals.   “It’s always a delicate balance to provide a moment of comic relief and to try and honor the recipients and their families on video during such an emotional time” says Scott Gray, managing partner at Video Craft.

This year Video Craft producers, Nate Tull and Tony Hope, will spearhead the highly anticipated movie.  “Humor is always a difficult task to pull off, but especially during an event where tragedy is the theme.  Having a naturally funny man like Rich in our corner certainly helps”, says Tony Hope.  Scripting has been completed and shooting will begin on September 17th using volunteer talent to support our returning lead actor, Rich Johnson.

There will be nine recipients this year, each with their own story and each with very serious needs.  For more information about The Randy Smith Memorial Golf Classic visit there website at www.rsmgc.org.
